House Rules
HOUSE RULES
THANKS FOR STAYING AT THE MERMAID BEACH COTTAGE!
1. First and foremost, treat our house as if it is yours.
2. Please do not smoke in the house.
3. No pets of any kind.
4. When coming in from the beach, please use the outdoor shower to remove all sand before entering the house.
5. Please do not sit on the indoor furnishings in wet swimwear.
6. When you leave the house to go to the beach, to run errands, etc., please lock up.
7. The barbeque is gas operated. When not in use, please make certain that the gas is completely turned off.
8. The house provides three parking spaces in front, although neighbors tend to use the driveway when on one is at the house. If other vehicles are parked in the driveway, honk once or twice for the owner to move their car. If it is not moved, please call to have the offending vehicle towed.
9. Out of respect for our neighbors, please move patio parties inside by 11:00pm.
10. Please feel free to use our boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach equipment located in the garage. At the end of the day please rinse all items and return to the garage.
11. Please make sure that all of your perishable food is removed from the refrigerator and placed in the outdoor trash receptacles prior to your departure.
12. Trash receptacles are located in front in the driveway. Please be aware that cans are separated for trash, garden waste and recycling. Please pull trash cans to the front curb on Wednesday night for Thursday morning pick up.
13. Upon your departure, please close all windows and blinds, strip beds and leave used linens and towels piled together on the floor, close and lock all doors (upstairs slider can be tricky so please check it twice) and return keys to front desk of Sothebys International Realty 459 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena 91101, in an envelope with the name TERESA FULLER printed clearly.
Once availability of the house is confirmed, please print out and sign this House Rules page and return it along with the
Rental Confirmation and Agreement.

Please reserve early for summer rentals as the weeks fill up fast!
Don’t forget about reduced winter rates and how wonderful the beach can be in winter.
